Some people will think hard about the cost. Yes, even something as truly pituful as $9. That's how bad it is for some people. Do you live in a bubble?

By the way, did you bother to read this thread? Just two people complained about speed and one of those says he has a paid-for account.

Most don't complain about speed, they complain that SM does not work at all. It doesn't matter what download manager they use, in some countries (and it does seem to be a country-specific problem) the service simply resets every ten minutes and the majority of free users get nothing.

Count yourself lucky you get a free service at all out of SM but don't moronically attack those who don't.

First off, I'm not a moron. Second of all I'm not a whiner, third of all, regardless of how many people in this specific post (2) complained, haven't you bothered to notice all the other posts popping up about Sharing Matrix?

Ok... I just had to get that out.

I'll be nice, I promise... but you have to admit... creating threads that put down a service that some posters use to bring you FREE content is very rude and irritating.

Some people who talk shit about a sharing site only have 1 or 2 posts anyways... they sit here all day and download without even contributing to the site... they have a right to voice their opinions but when it's a slap in the face to those who actually contribute and give back, then it really irks me.

I think it's a conspiracy, maybe these people who start these file sharing bashing threads are people who use other ones and want to talk about their competition.

These types of threads should really be banned.

Conspiracy theory - good. But I have also had problems, and while the point about DLing free files is valid, it doesn't help those of us for whom the subject service fails almost all of the time. Me for one. And I am not conspiring in any way.

Typically it simply acts as though there is already a DL in progress. That lasts for days at a time (like the present time for me). I have mailed them, and get no response. OK, fine. But it doesn't change either.

So the files you take the time to upload can't be downloaded. Which is the only saving grace I see for the oft seen situation of many uploads of the same files by different people. Sooner or later it usually comes up on another service, and that poster gets the ... well ... whatever comes from DLing their files.

This is not a complaint against posters, but a description of the situation with services. Rude and irritating, possibly. Frustrating, definitely.
