Let's not let this turn into some inane religious debate thread. Their POV is that you shouldn't shave because of that, my POV is that I'd prefer guys to shave because I hate getting a mouthful of fuzz.

Don't know how you interpretted that as a religious remark. I'm an aethiest but might have used a term like that sometimes to describe nature or something natural.

Shaving is a fashion fad. It's really quite recent that guys started doing it. A very few years ago a guy who was shaved would have probably been thought strange.

the aesthetics of shaving versus not shaving is subjective...however shaving is quite practical and arguably better looking. I on other hand a find nice bush attractive..

With that theory, why do most men shave their face? Shouldn't that be left natural. ( Just a question, not trying to start anything. )
Sometimes there is a need to shave.
For sports. I bike and use to run. Hair on your butt or on your balls can knot up. And I can tell you from experience it's horribly uncomfortable. And the only thing to do if you out on the road is reach down and pull the knot and hair out! OUCH!! On a bike, if your butt is hairy, and the butt cheeks and below the
balls are bouncing around on the seat guess what happens? This seems really funny but your butt cheeks start pulling together as the knots tighten. But it's not, and it's happened to me!

But here I know we are talking more aesthetics, and I prefer smooth myself.
I'd been sick and lost all my hair for several years, what came back isn't very full at all, if I don't groom and shave I look strange.

Shaving is just much easier that shampooing and conditioning your balls.
And then if you have to use a cream rinse, then blow dry and comb...

I have tried shaving but I prefer having pubic hair, and I love guys with pubic hair.

I have found it is easier to rather just keep is short and have the best of both

You guys mentioned that use of a creme is not recommended to remove hair on your balls, is it also not recommended to use it on your butt? The last time I shaved my ass I got a bunch of ingrown hairs, and a lot of irritation. It felt like I had a really bad sunburn on my butt, just really unpleasant. So I would like to know if there are better ways to remove the hair, or maybe certain methods to limit irritation after shaving?

I shave them occasionally, but it's more a trim than a shave, I don't stress about getting them absolutely smooth. It's a job that can't be rushed - and NEVER let anyone else try doing it for you.

Some guys like their partners to have lots of hair on their nuts and elsewhere, others prefer it smooth, so as Rick Nelson sang, "You can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself". Certinly I prefer the feel of a hairless testicle on my tongue or in my mouth. However, a few hairs have the advantage that they can be used to stimulate the other guy sexually by pulling on them gently.

As a matter of fact I used this technique on myself just a moment ago as I was typing, and my dick rose as expected.
