In the work of the poet and playwright Neapolitan Antonio Viviani "Li macaroni of Naples", published in 1824, appears for the first time instead of the term "spaghetti" and you are shown the various stages of processing. The literary sources earlier, however, use an alternative with respect to "spaghetti", the word "macaroni".
