Any choristers being conducted by Eric Whitacre and singing one of his compositions. He also looks like a surfer and appears to be 10 years younger than his age of 45. Check him out and his Virtual Choir on You Tube. A choir of over 2000 singers from 58 countries singing some of his works. All done thru the internet. To use a work that has become a cliche, this is awesome in the truest sense.

For classical music/opera I love Maria Callas as well, her singing was never perfect, and her voice isn't necessarily very beautiful but her ability to convey emotion/drama is incredible.

For share beauty of tone I love Barbara Bonney and Heidi Grant Murphy.

For non-classical I love Pink, Alicia Keys. Also Elton John (though maybe more as a writer than a singer).
