Sorry Tom, I wish I had taken them, just photos I have collected over the years. Yes that's the Northern lights :)

I love that picture. Elephants actually do rather well in the water.

I sure do hope your right taurus.. it just looks like he's miles away from the shore T_T and he looks stressed out :worried:

He looks happy to me...

Actually elephants are excellent and fast swimmers and even divers. Their power and stamina make them capable of swimming great distances. Their mass provides great bouncy and they use their trunks like snorkels.

Thanks Slimmy and Brnstn! I feel better~! Actually if I believe correctly I remember watching a show on the discovery channel about a boy riding an elephant while it was swimming! Okay I feel better and know that they can swim. Thanks for the reassurance :)

Little fact... All mammals are instinctively good swimmers, even cats;), they just don't like to get their hair wet:p All mammals that is with one exception, primates (humans included), humans and other primates have the instinct to panic in the water and must be taught to swim...
