A little place at the ocean
Danakil.
These fireplaces are called spiral formations shaped by mineral laden vapors escaping from underground magma chambers. When the steam evaporates, mineral deposits on pipes of every chimney.
This looks like a landscape out of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

A Hveravellir - which means "hot springs in the plain" - thin formations geyserite formed at the base of a mouth as the water cools. A notorious outlaw of the eighteenth century, Fjalla-Eyvindur, lived here in the heat for years, feeding sheep stolen from the summer pastures.

I have seen many war memorials but the Vietnam memorial is the most brilliantly designed, heart-breaking, gut- wrenching one of them all.
