Am I the only one who doesn't like Glee?

Well at first I was digging their pop/rap versions on their first few episodes from season 1 but now they are butchering almost all of my fav songs. They really shouldn't touch the classics esp if it comes out like a cheap teen trash music. And now I heard their version of Dog Days Are Over and they completely murdered it, I hate Glee :(

I don't like Glee anymore. Their first season was okay (not that great) but it all quickly went downhill.

Nope, you're not alone. The show just doesn't have enough of anything, plot, characterization, believability, musical talent, etc. to hold my attention. Very pretty to look at with the sound off, though.

I think some of the covers are a lot better than the originals. I love Madonna, but that's why I enjoyed the episodes with songs from Madonna, Britney and Lady Gaga so much -- they have much better vocals than the original.

Are you kidding me? Doesn't have enough of musical talent? Have you not heard Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison or Amber Riley? They have enough musical talent for every one on the cast and then some. I think you need to listen to their covers with an open mind, because clearly if you go into listening it with the mind set of "Oh boy, they covered so and so" then you're going to hate it. I personally loved their cover of Dog Days Are Over as I do all their covers. I think they're all extremely talented and bring a different feel for each song they cover.

I never liked Glee, as am not a fan of those genres of shows where people burst into singing, but that is just a preference of mine. The group are talented, and got amazing vocals, and i admire everyone of the members for that, but it doesn't change the fact am not a fan of shows like this. So you're not alone.

I like to think I have an open mind when it comes to music and I dig some of Glee's music like that Katy Perry version of Teenage Dream or when they did Broadway songs like that music from Wicked. Apart from that, they usually trample on the classics and make brilliant music sound cheap. Its like they just thought "oh hey this would be a cool song to cover" and never really read through the meaning of these songs. If I were an artist i wouldn't let that show touch my work...

Glee sucks.. it's for 12 years old girls.. not for adult.. Outsourced on the other hand is the bomb! it is so hilarious and they don't sing

You take things very seriously.Music is something for enjoying, they do changes they like, and some others like it too, i think it's a fun thing.Music is not something to get all mad about, it's all about your tastings.
If you like the original version, ok, keep listening it, but just because YOU don't like, it doesn't mean it's all screwed and it sucks, it's just a matter of opinion. There'll NEVER be a music or a version of it that EVERYBODY will like.
Btw, sorry for the bad english.

It sickens me when I see Glee albums topping the charts. Fortunately there is as yet no law that says you have to listen to, watch, or buy music that you don't like.

That probably says more about Madonna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga than it does about Glee. Especially the last two.

I think the artists would disagree since nearly every song that they cover pushes the original version up in sales. It's the "Glee Bounce".
