I am not the man to create a new banner, therefore I am not modern enough. But to make a little contribution I designed a banner as we would have done in the sixties of the last century. For us it was important that a banner gives crucial information
These are my considerations:
1. The forum should be a happy place, so I used an informal letter type.
2. You can feel free as a gay man or woman, no need to feel any shame.
3. You will find people and possible friends who can help you to find balance in your life.
I realize that the youngsters will laugh about such a banner. I just made it to give our young professionals like Refix an Rozas, who made beautiful examples of modern banners, some ideas.
Not all the ideas behind old fashioned banners are rubbish.

You may be a "Nestor" nobody laughs you out T'jerk contrary, we (me especially) have great respect for you and the advice of an older person is always welcome.
I have in my designs try to retain the simplicity and the most necessary information (refer to the website the most important) and where the site stands for (gay porn forum) inserted.
But is it not time that the admin's react or are they afraid (now the subject gets more attention) by having to let go of their loved?
I urge anyone who is even slightly feel to the site and have ideas and examples to bring them or does the saying:
"The best helmsmen stand on shore"?

We have a large staff meeting this weekend where admins, SMods and Mods will be involved.

One of the topics is the Gay Heaven banner and we have several entries to review. As I mentioned to Serlud, the last time we tried to change the banner, there was quite a bit of opposition to the change because this has become the trademark for GH and also because it was one of the banners created by a former staff member and Radix, the founder of the forum.

Not sure if there will be a change or not, but we all appreciate the efforts put forth by all who contributed.

Radix is no longer a member of the forum so he's unlikely to respond

We discussed the change of banner and we have decided it's got to be right so it's not going to be rushed. No final decision is going to be made just yet but we are getting closer to what we feel is appropriate.

If anyone wants to create and post one you still can and there is time for it to be considered. One stipulation, we have decided that using model photos is not going to be appropriate, it should be graphics only, (except maybe a silhouette might be acceptable) the photos are individual tastes and don't reflect everybody's so we need something that must appeal right across the board.

If you remember those awful anime characters we used to have, many hated those, me included, so an imaginitive and tasteful graphic is better.

If you include Josh's fantastic slogan then even better. That has certainly been considered very favourably regardless of the final design

But.. maybe we could change it a bit when there is a season.
like summer. - then spice it up with a sun and put sunglasses on the banner
model. and put snowflakes on at winter time. Just an idea.
