Citroën, Chapron and Panhard stands at the "Porte de Versailles"
Like every year, accompanied by Paul Panhard (on the right), president of the Paris motorshow, the general de Gaulle is visiting the exhibition. They are about to stop at the Chapron stand. Maybe they didn't notice this beautiful cabriolet DS Le Caddy foreground equiped with a dashboard Jaeger, available in the accessories stores.
Jean Panhard, on the left, will succeed his father Paul Panhard (1881 - 1969) as motorshow president in 1967.
The large Panhard stand is the first on the right when we come in by the main enter.
On the pressure of Citroën, the new Panhard owner, the old constructor has to leave 1/3 of his stand to Chapron.
For the first and last time, DS Citroën and DS Chapron are face to face.
After Panhard disappearance, little stands of bodyworkers and constructors move to the building outskirts.
The "French four bigs" have all the central nave.
