Better than Vista and Windows 7

I half agree with you.
It's better than Vista, sure, though only just. Windows 7 knocks 8 into a cocked hat - Windows 7 will go down in history as one of the great Windows versions, like NT4 and Win2K.
If you put a gun to my head and forced me to give up my Mac, and banned me from using Linux, I'd choose Windows 7 over all other versions of Windows still in support.

I agree with this - compared to "products" like Win ME
) or Vista to some degree, Win7 is really fine and it works. For an average user like me - it's wonderful! A true heir to WinXP!What were they thinking with Win8 - I don't know. I certainly have no intention of paying for that "masterpiece". Saw it on my friends comp - and it's no good for me!
