My tastes in music are very un-gay. Apart from Madonna, who I think is OK, I can't stand most of the current crop of female pop gay icons. I think Ke$$$$$ha is beyond horrible. I like a few of the older ladies - Tina Turner, Barbra Streisand, Cher. However my top female artist bar none is the goddess, JONI MITCHELL.

Amongst the males, Bob Lind is my favourite singer/songwriter by a long way, but it's a long time since he made his classic recordings. My current favourite male singer is probably Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree - more for the quality of the songs rather than the quality of his voice, though he does not by any means have a bad voice.
